What was the historical significance of the Nikolaikirche? What do the remaining foundations of the late Romanesque basilica tell us? What traces did the aerial bombardments leave behind? And why is the building a museum today? You’ll find answers to these questions and more on this guided tour.

The Nikolaikirche explores the building’s former functions and the development of the medieval city. In the exhibition, you’ll see historical objects from Berlin churches, artifacts from the city’s early history, and large-scale city models. Various themed stations highlight specific topics.
