In the reconstructed houses of the museum village, the villagers, dressed in medieval costume, invite you to make yourselves comfortable on animal skins by the light of the fire. Watch them as they cook, carve and spin. By the warming fire, the fairy-tale witch Silberzweig tells winter tales. The village square is also full of atmosphere: blacksmiths and campfires bathe everything in a warm glow. Delicious soup, freshly toasted bread and hot mulled wine will warm you from the inside.
