Tickets are not available on site. With her works from the 1920s, Jeanne Mammen (1890–1976) is one of Berlin’s best-known female painters and graphic artists. During the National Socialist regime and after World War II, she uncompromisingly pursued new paths. Since her death, her studio has been preserved almost exactly as it was during her lifetime—as a historic site and a vivid reminder of an unforgettable artist. Bathed in natural light from the large studio window, they were a popular destination for her circle of friends and other artists. The special atmosphere of the place prompted some of her close friends to preserve the studio as close to its original state as possible after Jeanne Mammen’s death. This includes furniture that she painted herself, giving it a personal touch. ## Important to know Since 2018, the studio has been managed by the Berlin Museum. Tickets are available no earlier than 14 days before your desired date for your museum visit. The tickets are not personalized and are therefore transferable.
