The Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin is a foundation under public law, funded by the State of Berlin. The foundation\u2019s remit, structure and governing bodies are governed by the Museums Foundation Act and the foundation\u2019s statutes. The foundation\u2019s governing bodies are the Executive Board and the Foundation Council.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"block block-copy\">\n\t<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-7 col-md-offset-5\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin is the sole shareholder of Stadtmuseum Berlin GmbH, the Berlin Museum&#8217;s service company. In addition, the foundation comprises several independent and non-independent foundations.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"block block-copy block-no-margin\">\n\t<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-7\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>In total, around 300 people work at the Berlin Museum. Around 180 of these are employed by the Foundation \u2013 across the six museums, in administration, in projects and in the depots.
