Education and Outreach

The Berlin Museum seeks to engage with people in the city. Its exhibitions and programmes are therefore not just about showcasing, but also about listening and involving the public. We create opportunities for participation and offer different ways to engage with our topics. This means that everyone can discover something that matches their own interests and experiences.

Whether young or old, whether as a family, a group, a school class or an individual, whether you’ve just moved here or have lived here for a long time: we invite everyone to get involved in our events and wide range of activities. We are particularly keen to reach out to people who haven’t yet discovered the museum for themselves. In this way, we create new ways to engage with the museum and foster new connections.

Together, equal, multi-voiced

Our programme offers a variety of ways to engage with the topics covered in our exhibitions. People from different generations and with different experiences can come together here to discover new things. We invite you to get involved in our workshops, guided tours, events and participatory projects. We talk to one another as equals, share experiences and make space for new perspectives. In this way, the museum becomes a place for meeting, exchange and shared discovery.
