WELTSTUDIO und Lounge bei BERLIN GLOBAL, 1. OG
5h 30min
Show your favourite places, imaginary worlds, or locations that exist only in your imagination.
Together with artist Luisa Walther, you can try tufting. Using colourful wool threads, you’ll work directly into fabric and help create a large shared map.
Do you enjoy working with colour? Then marble your own miniature globe. Dip a white sphere into water and paint to create a unique pattern. Every globe turns out differently, and you can take yours home with you.
In the reading lounge, actor Jessica Cuna will read stories about travel and the world at 12 noon and 2.30 pm. You can also explore picture books, atlases, and books about maps, cities, and the world. For younger children, there is plenty of space to crawl, play, and discover.
Drop in for a short visit or stay all day. All activities are open to everyone and invite you to join in.
Languages: German and English. Our guides also speak Spanish, French and some Turkish. If you would like support in one of these languages, please feel free to speak to our facilitators on site.
