With her works from the 1920s, Jeanne Mammen (1890–1976) is one of Berlin’s best-known female painters and graphic artists. During the National Socialist regime and after World War II, she uncompromisingly pursued new paths. Since her death, her studio has been preserved almost exactly as it was during her lifetime—as a historic site and a vivid reminder of an unforgettable artist.

Important to know
Since 2018, the studio has been managed by the Berlin Museum. To protect it and ensure its long-term preservation, it is accessible only as part of guided tours for a limited number of participants.

Along Kurfürstendamm, there are a few free on-street parking spaces for people with disabilities (e.g., at Kurfürstendamm 12, approx. 500 meters from the museum), which require the blue EU parking permit (marked “aG” or “Bl”). Alternatively, nearby parking garages and underground parking facilities, such as the Q-Park Fürst or the Contipark parking garage, offer accessible parking spaces.
On Foot
The route to the museum is easily accessible on foot and by wheelchair.
The rooms on the 4th floor are accessible via 91 steps. There is no elevator.
